I want to take a moment to thank all our guests who have written something on our little business, either on Tripadvisor, Google +, Facebook or other web pages. It might come off as bragging when I blog about a review we’ve recieved, but to us it mean so much, and actully when I share a review it is also to thank the writer/guest as well. Small businesses such as us cannot afford to compete with the advertising dollars of the big hotels and inns. We rely on the generosity of great guests who give their time to write from their hearts their thoughts on their stay with us. Through word of mouth they tell friends and family and or by posting a review, you help us be who we are and help us grow as a business and we are so grateful.
The photo I chose to accompany this post is one of the last water lily blooms of the summer. I had fun with our son with my new camera getting some tips on taking photos and this is one result. Our pond is a great place to sit and relax and our guests often write about it in their reviews as well. Below is the latest testemonial to appear on Tripadvisor and we just have to say a huge THANK YOU to James and Joanne. They even posted a photo of my Lemon White Chocolate Cranberry Scones that I served one morning as my bread course. To see Joanne’s photo just click on the tripadvisor link below.
“Long Tree-Lined Driveway Leading to Stunning Gardens and Gorgeous B&B!”
Reviewed 3 days agoNEW
We were so impressed with the generous and gracious hospitality of our hosts, Donna and Larry, who were very friendly and welcoming. Their B&B location is in good proximity to Midland and Penetanguishene, both areas that we visited. We enjoyed the evening strolls along the trails, photographing the various birds at the different feeders, and sitting at the gazebo pond watching the fish swim. Each morning of our two night stay, we were served a gourmet four-course breakfast that was beyond anything we had ever experienced at any B&B! I couldn’t tell you what our favourite was as we loved the fruit medley with chocolate mint, the scones, the muffins, the fruit cobbler, the maple bacon, quiche, casserole, pumpkin pancakes etc. It was all so decadent! We have already highly recommended this B&B to all of our friends! James and Joanne
