Blue Jays are very common visitors to our feeders and can often be bossy and aggressive with smaller birds.  They love peanuts, whether it be in the shell or shelled.  They also stock pile little cashes for use in leaner times.  Many people confuse Blue Jays with Bluebirds.  Soon our Bluebirds will arrive back from the south and I will add some new photos of these beauties and you will see the big difference in these two species of song birds.  Photo credit:  Donna Tolmie
